VERY FINE/NEAR MINT Written by J. Mmichael Straczynski, art and cover by Gary Frank.
Iran, Africa, and the international community have felt the wrath of America's top fighting force, but what happens when the war is brought home to the Squadron? Has someone been able to gather a group up that can challenge the Squadron Supreme for world supremacy?
BONUS REVIEW by DAL BUSH
If any book runs hot and cold for me, it's Squadron Supreme. That, or the Iceman/Firestar Amazing Friends stuff. Ha HA! Woo! That's the kind of stunning wordplay that can pass for humor (if you will, "so clever you laugh") in a JMS book. Which is bad. But every so often, he blows off a storyline with a killer, action-packed issue that you think no one, including yourself, could live through. Which is good. Like this month's issue! 8 Grahams
