Truth be told I am a sucker for Dengar. Yeah that's right the diaper headed bounty hunter from Empire Strikes Back. If memory serves I got his figure before Boba Fett as a kid and he became my go to bounty hunter until Boba finally showed up. Then poor ole disrespected Dengar was left to be murdered with stormtroopers and sand people. Flash forward 42 years and I see Dengar gets 2 out of 3 covers on this issue. My nostalgia kicked in and I picked up my first Star Wars Adventures issue that did not include Vader's name on the title. And I was pleasantly surprised with a nice tale of how bad-ass Dengar could be. Sure the dialogue was retched and it felt like I was reading part 5 or 6 of an ongoing story but what did I expect, this is an all-ages comic.
"Nope."
No? Uhm anyways the guest artist, Natacha Bustos did a descent enough job telling the story and keeping characters looking consistent with other all-ages Star Wars books I have seen.
"This is Star Wars Bounty Hunters by Marvel, bro."
No it's not. This is clearly a fill in issue on IDW Star Wars Adventures. And don't call me bro.
"Nope. 23rd issue of Rated T for Teens Marvel Comic, boss."
What? Seriously? This is not a fill-in issue? This was done on purpose? Really?
"Really."
Really?
"Really."
Really bad.

I give it 2 out of 10 Grahams
