VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Si Spurrier (A) Kev Walker (CA) Ashley Witter BROKEN, INSIDE BEGINS NOW! Aphra is behind bars. Again. But this time, she finds herself in Imperial custody, strapped to an explosive transmitter synced to a single hub-droid. Take one step too far? KABLOOEY! Normally, this wouldn't be an issue to sit still for Aphra - but what happens when her Imperial captors send her hub-droid to the middle of a war zone? And, uh, what's this rumor about the prison being haunted? Rated T Date Available: 05/23/2018
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy & Triple Zero
Si Spurrier's first full issue as solo writer is great. "No it's not. Where am I? Where are my words?" Triple Zero, you'll just have to be patient. This isn't your time, and the book isn't called 'Murderbots'. Just wait. I suspect you'll be catching up w/ Aphra around issue #25. For now.... This is probably the best single issue of the book. Marc Deering's inks on Kev Walker's pencils give some weight to an imposing space prison. Also notable for absolutely nothing going Aphra's way despite her careful planning. She doesn't know how to respond to the no win scenario. (Is it ok to say that here?) I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
