BONUS REVIEW by Gary Owens

Choppy, but that's what you get where the writer feels an obligation to keep certain characters in view, but can't spend the time to do it effectively. The story doesn't begin that way, which starts with a funeral, and then switches to being part of the Death of the Family storyline. The main arc sort of follows Harley, which by far are the best sequences here, but then also feels the need to sort of follow Amanda Waller, and sort of check-up with several prisoners of Belle Reve, and, well, that's it--the issue ends. The jumping around hurts the comic, and it seemed like we were getting several 2-3 page "How are you doing?" that will lead somewhere sometime in the future, but please, please wait until after the Death plot ends, O.K.? It made me wonder why we couldn't get this info then? Yes, it's hard to be a writer in the middle of a cross-over storyline...

I give it 4 out of 10 Grahams
