Superman #3 (2018)

$3.99
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Brian Michael Bendis
(A/CA) Joe Prado, Ivan Reis
Guest-starring the Justice League! Locked inside the Phantom Zone, the Earth stands poisoned and its heroes lie dying, with no idea how to escape the deadly Kryptonian trap. But an even deadlier threat invades as Rogol Zaar teams with those who have been imprisoned inside the Phantom Zone to use Earth to escape, not caring if they destroy the planet to do it.
Date Available: 09/12/2018
BONUS REVIEW by Shawn

Superman is a title that is at its best when it's big, and it hasn't been this big since John Byrnes' ego was well deserved. The nearly Neal Adams art certainly helps, as well. Like the majority of Bendis books, it doesn't care about continuity, but in a universe where the JLA can blow up the moon without ramification, it doesn't really need to. If it stays this fun, you'll want to be on board. Highly recommended for those who believe that S.T.A.R. Labs should be subject to more oversight, those who may have been curious as to how Superman would deal with looters, and fans of Adam Strange.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
