Walking Dead #150...how about that? If you've been anywhere in the comic world, you know that this issue is called 'Betrayed'. Let's talk about that. Rick is betrayed. Totally. Buuuut.....not in any of the ways I'd thought it was going to happen. I'll tell you what doesn't occur instead of spoiling what does: Negan is still in his cell, Dwight has left the hilltop but for different reasons, Maggie does not question or challenge Rick's leadership, and Carl doesn't choose the Whisperers over family. That doesn't leave many options, and that's what's best about this issue. What happens is really rough stuff because it comes from out of nowhere. Rick's appearance on the cover doesn't begin to cover the actual shape he's in.

Since we're not going to talk plot, let's talk character moments, and you'll get great ones from Maggie, Andrea, Michonne, and yes, even Rick. Rick's really comes from Negan though, so let's say he's got a great character moment as well. But if he's still in his cell, how could that be? Anyway, he's a big hearted forgiving type, and I'm sure he only has the communities' best interest in mind. A great issue of a great book in a great comics week.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
