Weirdworld #2 (2015)

$3.99
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Jason Aaron
(A/CA) Mike Del Mundo
Weirdworld is where the lost things go. Like the barbarian lord Arkon, who's now prisoner of the underwater apes.
Or like his cellmate, a mysterious one-eyed man who appears to be made out of rock and calls himself a Crystal Warrior… Rated T
Date Available: 07/22/2015
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Magic! That's what this book is. It's magic from the barbarian focused dialogue which is both absurd and perfect, to the glorious painted art of Mike Del Mundo. What could be better? What could push 'awesome' to 'magic'? Two words: Warbow and Crystar. When your main character is saved by a primary character from a book based on a Remco toy line from the 80's, you have something more than special. Magic might even be too small a word since Crystar himself makes a cameo appearance. What's next? Sectaurs?!?! This is the book of the week in both Wheaton and Dekalb, and carries our highest recommendation at those locations and anywhere barbarian wars are celebrated.

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
