BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON
I don't normally read Wolverine Origins, but decided to give a whirl again for a number of reasons. Mostly because this is Part 1 of a new storyline.
Wolverine spends the entire issue trying to track down a character named Romulus that's evidently been manipulating Wolverine his entire life. This was all new to me - that's what you get for not reading the previous 36 issues, I guess. Anyway it's set-up nicely, easy to follow, and I dig the 70's/80's styled artwork from Scot Eaton and Andrew Hennessy. There's a particular splash page that made me look for the Comics Code (it's been gone a long time - why am I looking?)
Formulaic storyline, but still decent Wolverine faire, and if not for the graphic violence great for starting point for a younger Wolverine fan.
I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams
