If you’re like me, you’ve been wondering what Layla Miller’s been up to in the desolate future. Apparently she’s been “thinking about ‘stuff.’” Yes, our sweet little know-it-all even cracks wise with the guards at her internment camp. That is until she busts out. Layla’s been one of the best things to escape the mind of Brian Bendis and make it to the printed page. And in the deft hands of Peter David she comes to snarky life. Here, it’s revealed that Layla may, in fact be the most important mutant in history, and when she makes it back from the future she may just change the world forever.
