VERY FINE/NEAR MINT

John Romita JR begins his run.
He starts out trying to ape PAUL SMITH and you just get bad Paul Smith, but I'm guessing he was told to do this.
It's interesting, I have a love/hate relationship with John Romita Juniors artwork. Don't get me wrong, I respect the guy enormously, and think he's a real talent. It's just that sometimes he sucks, like on his run for Uncanny X-Men. I have no idea how anyone appreciates or enjoys his work on this, it was awful.
But I loved him on Spidey and on Hulk, and Thor, and a bunch of titles I can't recall right now.
His work has real energy, but the finishes are usually lacking.
