NEW STORY ARC! It's KICK-ASS versus HIT-GIRL. Old allies become enemies when Mindy screeches into Albuquerque to kill the imposter who's been running gangs in New Mexico. And as Hit-Girl sets out to avenge Dave and stop Kick-Ass' criminal operations for good, Patience fights to survive as the target of the best assassin in the biz-and questions whether she could ever kill a child to save her own life.

BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

The not so new Kick A** by Steve Niles and Marcelo Frusin has been an enjoyable book, and Patience Lee has been an interesting character. Getting drugs off the streets with some finality, and putting drug money to good use to keep those streets clean, is a fine twist on this Punisher type character.

A reluctant optimist, she believes she has a solution that will help everyone. Help her family. Help her city. Help the dealers conscripted into her army even if they have little in common. Appeal to their better angels. Well, what if you try and do that and the other party comes out full of bitterness that your taking away their life of crime?

Recommended for people who understand that the US code of Military Ethics will probably not work on folks who believe they have their best chance as criminals rather than Americans.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
