BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy
(W) Brian Michael Bendis
(A/CA) Joe Prado, Ivan Reis
The House of El is united in this SUPERMAN/SUPERGIRL crossover! It's the House of El against everyone as Superman, Jor-El, Supergirl and Superboy face intergalactic attacks from Rogol Zaar, General Zod and an armada of alien warriors and assassins. With the truth behind Krypton's destruction set to be revealed, a galactic conspiracy threatens to silence Supergirl and Jor-El if Superman can't live up to his name. RATED T

Bendis' run on Superman continues with dirty secrets and artistic abandon. Ivan Reis is still channeling the best non Neal Adams Neal Adams out there, and the twists- who knew about Krypton? Who could have prevented it? Why is Zod working with Rogol Zaar?- are all presented with Superman being the voice of skepticism to drag the reader along with it. If we all know what happened, how could this be true?
Well, if it worked to bring back Bucky, it can probably work here too if done this well. It's almost a shame there has to be earthbound 'Action Comics' with this title being this good, but its also almost a shame there has to be a spacebound 'Superman' with Action Comics being this good.
Has there been a better time to be a Superman fan since the first two movies were released?
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
