![]() Who else misses Donny Cates? I know I do. In addition to being a talented writer, he also brought a unique energy to his work that is noticeably missing from comics without him. Given the reason for his absence is a traumatic brain injury, I'm not going to hold it against him, but he left many plot threads dangling at Marvel, ones that may never see resolution. However, if anyone can prove me wrong, it’s Derek Landy here. He is an underappreciated gem of a writer. Seeing him taking a shot at resolving the many unfinished plotlines surrounding the Infinity Stones built over the past six years is a promising sign that other people are beginning to recognize his talents. I can only hope this is the start of big things from him. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
