BONUS REVIEW by "Doc" Schaefer

This one initially presents me with a reviewers dilemma. On the one hand, I'm a big fan of the character of Giant Man (especially the Black Goliath version) but I really don't give a rat's about the War of the Realms. So let's see what we've got inside, shall we. An interesting yet somewhat disjointed story as Lady Freyja come knocking for vengeance. With Loki's death at the hands (or rather mouths) of the Frost Giants, she's gathering up the only men who can go eye to eye with them. And while the characters are an interesting mix the story itself. It's almost as if some panels were left on the cutting room floor. Numerous times I had to double back and see if two pages were stuck together. Unfortunately, like many mini-series published to enhance the main story, it seems unnecessary and rushed. Which I actually believe is a shame. Maybe a mini-series without being connected to Marvel's next big thing storyline might have served these characters better.

I give it 5 out of 10 Grahams
